What makes a good neighbor?
When I was younger, I remember hearing, “Good fences make good neighbors.” Scripture states,”My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends” . The sense of belonging and compassion to one’s neighbors , a kind words, assistance in times of crisis. These are the qualities of being and building good neighbors.

In a time of weather crises, and political turmoil we are one nation under God. We have more in common with America, and world communities, because we live together on earth.

Faith practice. Faith without works is dead. We dwell on the great blue marble. I ask, how shall we build bridges of understanding and cooperation between communities, and countries with whom we are neighbors? “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends., scripture. Let us embrace these truths which provide a road map of principles of love and peace.
